Eldergods moisturizers are lightweight, fast absorbing and mist-on the face and body creating a gorgeous matte finish. I love these products because they keep the skin well hydrated and do not leave a greasy residue, or leave the skin feeling “coated” like some facial creams often do. Scented with organic essential oils, they leave the skin delicately fragranced without being overpowering. Each moisturizer has a matching alcohol-free fragranced face and body mist. I enjoy using it throughout the day to keep me refreshed, hydrated and to give me a little boost. It is also fantastic to spray all over your body after a warm shower, or apply over the moisturizer to create a longer lasting and more fragrant aroma.

Created by fellow makeup artist, Susan Hayward, the Eldergods Inc. moisturizer concept originated from the many skincare challenges that Susan was experiencing with each of her clients. Susan was realizing how women who are experiencing acne or overactive skin have had a long battle with treating their acne with powerful medications, but in the interim end up severely drying out and damaging their skin. Most of these women could hardly stand to put moisturizer on because of how it made their skin feel and look. Most moisturizers on the market are formulated with a cream or oil base, which can leave the skin looking shiny or feeling oily. It was with this challenge that she was inspired to formulate an organic line of face and body moisturizers to help hydrate, refresh and give the skin a clean matte finish.

The two moisturizer collections both contain two products formulated to work specifically with your skin type. Nectar is for normal to dry skin, with a textured floral/woody scent, and Etiquette is for normal to oily skin, with a lighter citrus aroma. All of the ingredients are certified organic, organic or wild harvested, and are chemical, paraben, alcohol, solvent and nut-free.
