What excites me most about Kjaer Weis is not just the fact that I have a new line that I am excited to get working with, but that there is a new organic makeup collection that offers an edge when it comes to packaging, formula and color. Each metal compact is refillable and comes packaged in a red lacquered grain-textured box. Each refill is wrapped in a customized paper carton that is completely recyclable.

The minds and mastery behind the Kjaer Weis Organic Cosmetics line is that of New York based makeup artist Kirsten Kjaer Weis and designer Marc Atlan, an award-winning designer for companies such as Helmut Lang and Comme des Garcons.

The entire collection consists of a Lip Tint, Cream Blush and an Eyeshadow that all maintain neutral shades and look great on just about anyone. “When I’m working, I often go back to very specific neutral shades that I’ve worked with over and over, as I know these will make every woman look her best,” says Kirsten. It is these specially created, tried and trusted colors that form the launch range for Kjaer Weis.
