best mascara ever

Mascara has always been my least favorite item in my makeup kit, however it is hard pressed to find a woman who will let me “leave off” mascara when working on them. I believe my dislike has not only been from “the look itself” but also the smell of the product. It has always smelled so synthetic and my nose guides me to NEVER “pull out the mascara wand”. There are times I love the look of mascara and that is when there is NOTHING else on the face, just “clumped” mascara piled on so thick it looks “fake.” NOW that look I love, like Goldie Hawn on her 1960’s television hit “Laugh In”.

Also, my pet peeve with mascara is the color. I do not like red heads wearing black mascara or even blondes UNLESS it is the “clumped on, I am wearing mascara look” then by all means wear black. But in your everyday application, color is essential.

My absolute favorite mascara that I have “tested” and in trying I have actually been known to throw in my makeup bag (yes, I am actually carrying a little bag of makeup, SHOCKING) is Couleur Caramel Mascara.

I love this mascara because it is ninety-eight percent natural, it has a mineral and plant-based formula, it is paraben-free, phenoxyethanol free, coal free, PEG free, and has two incredible types of brushes……one for lengthening and one for thickening. The thickening brush deposits more product on the lash and the lengthening easily brushes it through. The water-based formula replaces skin-aggressive solvents (often found in synthetic mascaras), and allows for several successive applications without damaging the look of the lashes. The formula also contains bee wax to create a protective, moisturizing and repairing barrier for your lashes.
Both brushes are amazing and they come in both black and brown, which I am OBSESSED WITH, as I have ALWAYS been on the search for the perfect brown mascara.
