Maranda was a hairdresser I just heard about..for years it seemed. Finally I was lucky enough to meet her while shooting a Gap campaign. It was love at first sight. A swede with style and humor making every set fun and creative. Not to mention she is the mother of Biba, a makeup artist in the making whom you will meet next week.

Who are you? A Swede living in the land of opportunity.

Where are you? On location in Malibu, listening to the waves.

How we met? At a shoot in downtown LA.

Something that no one knows about you? I cry when I watch shows where people win.

What is your most marked beauty secret? You can wear or do anything if you REALLY want to..

What is your idea of earthly happiness? Lazy afternoon on a beach with a blood orange mimosa, batgammon, good music and friends.

I don’t leave home without? My cellphone, purse and a big stock of trident white gum in Cool Rush.

Dream Job? I am living the dream.

Who are your beauty icons? Anita pallenberg, Bridget Bardot, Jane Birkin, Sophia Loren and Kate Moss.

What quality do you most admire in a woman? The power to move mountains.
