Weekly Portrait of A Natural Beauty – Persephenie

As I have always dabbled in blending my own scents and skincare I decided it was time to see how it was truly done which led me to meeting Persephenie. I was aware of her skincare but unaware she was a master perfumist until seeing she offered perfumery classes. I signed up and needless to say I became a fan of her style, knowledge and passion for all she does. Persephenie is a true artist and I am very excited to say we are collaborating on a project that I can’t wait to share!

Persephenie is a Los Angeles based Certified Aromatherapist and Perfumer, specializing in natural botanical perfumery.A born artist and painter, Persephenie opened the studio in 2004 as a place to create art. As she continued to practice the craft of perfumery, her space evolved into a masterful orchestration of raw materials, hand-made personal care products and sundries, and treasured oils found around the globe.

At the studio, Persephenie offers private group and individual classes on natural botanical perfumery and Aromatherapy. She specializes in custom scents for individuals and developing brands. In 2010 Persephenie launched her Organic body care line PERSEPHENIE. And in August 2011 she is introduced four perfumes. Fall of 2011 she’ll launch a line one-off jewelry that she crafts herself, that includes hand-made rose beads made from roses, woods, and resin. Persephenie enojoys bringing people closer to nature, through the olfactory, with rare scents from around the world.
