<p><a href="http://projectgreensearch.com/">Project Green Search</a> is looking for the next “Green It Girl”: The woman who wants to take a stand, get noticed, and align her career endeavors with her personal beliefs, to be an advocate for the environment, animal welfare, fair trade, and human rights. She’s a model, spokesperson, host, brand ambassador and all around green model citizen, for progressive, sustainable, ethical companies, from fashion and beauty to cars and computers. Now in its second year, the competition has become even bigger and better!</p>
<p>The lucky eco girl selected will get not only receive a representation offer by a modeling and talent agency, but will also enjoy a slew of green freebies to get her started on her new career as an eco model and spokesperson for the green movement. A shopping spree at eco-shop <a href="http://www.shiftboutique.com/" target="_blank">Shift Boutique</a>, an eco-beauty makeover from green beauty store <a href="http://www.evoluebeauty.com/Home.html" target="_blank">Evolue</a>, a library of eco-living books, and raw vegan cooking classes are just some of the items in the prize package for the big winner.</p>
<p>Put together by <a href="http://chartreusepr.com/" target="_blank">Aysia Wright of ChartreusePR</a>, this green competition is free to enter! Simply complete an entry form on the <a href="http://projectgreensearch.com/" target="_blank">Project Green Search</a> website and submit it along with a head and full body shot, plus a personal, 300 to 500-word essay on what sustainability means to you by the end of 2010. The Season 2 Project Green Search entry period is open now, and ends at midnight on December 31, 2010. The finals will take place in Los Angeles in February of 2011, (final dates to be announced) where the finalists will participate in a series of challenges related to developing a career as a model, host or spokesperson in the sustainable living sphere.</p>

<p>Then you’ll get to chill out, drink, and eat with your new friends while waxing lyrical about pristine beaches, clean waters, local craft beer….</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you a green beauty looking to find your place in the spotlight? <a href="http://www.thegreenloop.com/">Green Loop</a> is on the move to find the next green &#8220;it girl&#8221; that has what it takes to get noticed, take a stand, be an advocate for the environment, animal welfare, fair trade, and human rights. You could be the most influential green model to become the poster girl for speaking out and representing brands and products that are &#8220;good for you&#8221; and &#8220;good for the planet&#8221;.</p>
<p><a href="http://projectgreensearch.com/">ELIGIBILITY</a></p>
<p>- Candidates must be female at least 17 years of age and US residents.  Entrants under 18 years of age must have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.</p>
<p>- Candidates must be dedicated to professionalism, environmental awareness and social responsibility.<br />
No previous modeling experience or agency representation is required.</p>
<p>- There are no restrictions on age (other then the minimum age) or height.</p>
<p>- Must be able to attend Portland Fashion Week for final competition October 9th-12th, 2009</p>

<p>- If not yet represented, a contract with top tier modeling agencies to provide representation in Portland and Los Angeles for work print, runway and television.</p>
<p>- A professional photography session with fashion photographer Courtney Dailey, complete with organic make-up and sustainable designer clothing.</p>
<p>- A 20 piece Eco-Fashion wardrobe.</p>
<p>- A natural and organic beauty shopping spree at Future Natural.</p>
<p>- Features, articles and covers in publications including Coco Eco Magazine, Organic Spa Magazine, Peppermint Magazine, Chenille Magazine, Electrifying Times, Route 66 Pulse, and more tear sheets to build a portfolio.</p>
<p>- Guidance and introductions by LOHAS to sustainable beauty, fashion and other companies.</p>
<p>- A one year stint as the face of Project Green Search.</p>
